According to Zoya: Vespa can be best described as a Mint Kiss with a sugared sparkle, in the exclusive Zoya PixieDust Matte Sparkle formula.
Vespa is a gorgeous mint green with silver microglitter. It is seriously stunning! Green is my favorite polish color and I have to say, this is one of my favorites. I love how the color is muted compared to others in my collection, which makes it appropriate for more professional manicures, without being boring. The silver flecks really come out in the sunlight! The long I looked at Vespa, the more I loved it!
It goes on so smooth! There's no running, pooling, dragging, clumping...nothing! It glides on as if it's meant to be there. The first coat is quite sheer, but it reaches full opacity in two coats. It also dries quite fast.
Like I said, this is amazingly sparkly! Even in dim lighting it looks great. This is my first experience with textured polish, so I am still getting use to the gritty feel of it. However, I did find that I kept rubbing my nails. It's an interesting sensation. Of course, if you can't stand the texture, you can always cover it up with a thicker top coat. This seemed to have gobbled up the one coat I used, so maybe some Seche Vite would be a better choice.
Vespa survived a good scalp scrubbing with medical strength dandruff shampoo, suffering only minimal tip wear! And I do mean minimal: only two nails, and you'd have to be really looking to notice it. Impressive! Even after a week I didn't notice any additional wear. I only had one chip, but I had also chipped the actual nail, so that's my fault. However, there was no peeling at all from where my nail broke! I wore this for ten days instead of my usual seven, and was very impressed with how it held up.
