Review: Zoya "Solange"

What I Used:
  • 1 coat of Zoya Anchor Base Coat
  • 2 coats of Zoya Solange
  • 1 coat of Zoya Armor Top Coat
According to Zoya: Solange by Zoya can be best described as a gold metal foil sparkle featuring a Zoya EXCLUSIVE GOLD PIGMENT in the best-selling Zoya PixieDust Textured, Matte, Foil Twinkle formula.

Color [9/10]
Solange is a gorgeous golden yellow! It kind of reminds me of that artificial popcorn butter, but not in a bad way! Yellow polishes normally make my hands look yellow, but Solange has enough gold flecks to balance it out.

Application [8/10]
Solange goes on like butter, but it dries extremely fast! You'll have to be quick about your strokes, or else it starts to drag. This is almost a one coat polish, too. If you get enough on the brush and have good control it probably could be. I'll just call it a one and a half coater!

Finish [7/10]
Solange isn't as sparkly or shimmery as I would have liked. It does have a rather nice shiny, metallic look which sets it apart from the others in the collection.

Longevity [8/10]
Solange lasted a week before any tip wear was noticeable, and after nine days I had only two chips. The chips didn't peel which was nice, and it's a pain to take off. Prepare to scrub with remover with acetone!

Final Score: 8.0
